I grew up in Lae, Papua New Guinea, and then finished school and university in Brisbane, Australia.
CURRENT HOME BASE
I’ve been living in New York for the past two years, and I love it!
I’m a freelance writer, producing wellness, beauty, fashion, and pop culture content for sites such as Sporteluxe, Refinery29, Byrdie, Mamamia, News.com.au and Racked. As far as jobs go, mine is pretty great.
AN AVERAGE DAY
I start most mornings with a workout — either hip-hop yoga at Y-7 Studio at Flatiron in New York, Pilates at Karen Lord Pilates Movement, or breakfast with a publicist or brands. Mid-morning I head back home to start writing, and I spend most of the afternoon working on stories, pitching, and researching. At night I often have a work event, or grab dinner with some friends or my boyfriend. I usually jump back online to work on my side-projects and responding to emails until a little after midnight.
Keep working with my favourite women’s lifestyle and news publishers, while getting my startup off the ground.
CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT
Lindt Sea Salt dark chocolate, WiFi, green smoothies, and Pinot noir.
I’m trying to follow a skin care routine that’s as natural as possible, which means tossing out anything with nasty chemicals or fragrances. I use an oil cleanser on my skin to remove makeup, tone with diluted apple cider vinegar (I swear it keeps acne at bay!), and then lather on Jojoba oil and an organic eye-cream.
Feminine, trend-led, and colourful.
